Every sports team has a name or a mascot. Some are majestic and evoke pride and power. Think eagles, falcons, bears, tigers. Others are as stupid as the film version of “The Flintstones.”

University of Southern California: Trojans - Tommy Trojan (but only when he’s riding his white steed, Traveler)
University of Southern Indiana: Screaming Eagles. Sounds like a Judas Priest song.
North Carolina State: Wolfpack. Nice and visceral, even feral. A team ready for a killing spree.
Rhode Island School of Design: The Nads. All we can say is “Go Nads!”
